1. Information Stored on Your Device
The following information may be stored locally on your device or browser storage:
- Your profile details (such as name or role entered by you)
- Preferences and settings
- XP, streaks, completed scenarios, and achievements
- Burnout check-ins and habit tracking data
- Journal entries, reflections, and learning progress
This information remains on your device unless you choose to export it.
2. Information Sent to Third-Party Services
When using AI-powered features such as:
- AI Mentor
- AI Debriefs
- Communication Simulations
the text you enter may be securely transmitted to a third-party AI service provider solely for the purpose of generating responses.
We do not attach your identity to these requests.
We do not knowingly use this data to personally identify users.
3. Technical and Hosting Data
Like most online services, our hosting providers may automatically process limited technical information such as:
- IP address
- Browser type
- Device type
- Operating system
- Basic diagnostic and security logs
This information is used only for:
- service reliability
- security
- abuse prevention
- performance monitoring
We do not use advertising trackers or profiling systems.
4. What We Do Not Collect
ICU Survival Kit does NOT collect:
- Real patient data
- Patient names, MRNs, photos, or identifiers

- Contacts
- Microphone recordings
- Camera access
- Advertising identifiers
- Behavioral profiling data
Important: Do not enter any real patient-identifying information anywhere in the app.
5. Your Control Over Data
You remain fully in control of your information.
Export Progress
You may export your stored progress and data as a JSON file.
Reset All Progress
You may permanently delete all locally stored app data from your device at any time using the in-app reset option.
Clearing your browser or app storage will have the same effect.
6. Children’s Privacy
ICU Survival Kit is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

ICU Survival Kit is an educational and wellness-support application only.
It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and should not replace professional clinical judgment or supervision.
